Aleo, my history
Hello, you’re reading a tutorial for ambassadors. In this article, I will show you how I do my work in the Aleo project. We’ll break down questions like:
- What kind of work to do?
- What are the steps for creating work?
- What content creation software do I use?
I am an ambassador of the Aleo project and my level right now is voyager. I want to become a maestro. To do this, I have to accumulate 40 Aleo points 3 months in a row. In the picture below you can see how many Aleo points you can get for each job.
In the first month I decided to do the following work:
- Created a review course about Aleo (8 videos, 28–35 points);
- Wrote the article you are currently reading (2–5 points);
- Created and shared 5 memes (2 points);
- Moderated Discord (1–5 points).
When you choose which job to do, base it on what you know how to do. I know how to work with video creation software as well as design. That’s why I want to get most of my points using those skills. Now I want to talk more about doing each job.
Creation of a course about Aleo.
Required equipment:

· Adobe Premier Pro
· Adobe After Effects
· Adobe Audition
First Step. First, we need to write the structure of the course. I wanted to cover all aspects of the Aleo ecosystem, so I chose the following topics for the videos:
1. General information about the course.
2. Introduction to Aleo
1. Tokenomics
3. ZKP technology.
4. Leo programming language
5. Testnet 3.
6. Ambassador program
7. Project’s prospects.
I believe that these topics reveal the essence of the project in sufficient detail.
I then proceeded to the second stage. The writing of the script.
For me, this was the most difficult stage, because I do not really like writing text. You can get the basic information from Aleo Blog. Note that it’s important to make videos with lots of visual information and examples. This step does not require certain programs, I wrote the text in Microsoft Word.
The third step. Voicing the video.
I use a Zoom H1n recorder for sound recording. If you can’t afford to buy an audio recorder, you can use a voice recorder in your smartphone.
I voice the script and then cut the pauses in Adobe Audition 2022. You can use a video editing program, the result will be the same. Not every video requires voiceover, rely on your vision of the content you are creating.
Speaking of my experience, it takes me quite a while to voice-over videos, but each time, you learn to do it faster.
Step four. Recording the video. This step is not necessary because for some videos you can download video footage from the Internet or create your own. In the case of shooting my videos, I need a camera, lights, chromakey and a mask. I believe that these attributes can be used to convey the idea of the project.
I use a Canon 200d camera to shoot my videos. In order to cut the green background well, it is necessary to light the green background evenly. This requires at least 2 light sources.
Fifth step. Video editing. First, I merge the video and audio in Premier Pro. After that, I process the sound and subtitles, I go to After Effects. With AE, I remove the green background and add text. And in the end we have this result.
The sixth step. Publishing the video. I usually upload videos to YouTube.
Shooting a course is hard work. It took me more than two weeks from writing the script to publishing it. So it’s important that you enjoy the work.
Writing an article
Required equipment:
- Computer or laptop
Software:
- Microsoft Word
In my opinion, this is much easier. You also have to choose a topic to start with. You should rely on what you are competent in. I don’t have an in-depth knowledge of programming, so I write an article on a more applied topic. The next step is to create a structure; I figure out what to talk about. Then I open Microsoft Word and start writing. It is important to note that the article must be more than 3 pages in order for you to get Aleo Points.
Creating memes
Required equipment:
- Computer or laptop
Software:
- Adobe Photoshop
Any content creation requires creativity. In the case of creating memes, this is one of the most important aspects. Therefore, this job is not suitable for everyone. You can get ideas by browsing Reddit.
More often than not, creating memes doesn’t require advanced knowledge of Photoshop. You need to download a template and add text or a picture to it. The most important thing is the idea.

My idea is to add the face of Kevin Mitnick (formerly a famous hacker) and show that he would choose Aleo.
Next, you need to save the picture and share it on social networks (for example, Twitter).
Creating infographics
Required equipment:
- Computer or laptop computer
- Graphics tablet (if necessary)
Software:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
In the case of creating illustrations, you need to be able to draw. Not everyone can draw a good illustration at all.
For the purposes of this article, I won’t go into detail about how I create these illustrations. If you want to create something similar, you can check out the Adobe Illustrator tutorials. You don’t need to buy a graphics tablet to get started, although it’s much more convenient to make illustrations with one.
Chat moderation
Required equipment:
- Computer, laptop or smartphone
Software:
- Not required.
Here everything is as simple as possible, but also Aleo Points do not give much. You can help the participants of the chat in Discord. If you have a desire to help others, you should definitely do it.

Advice
In order not to lose any of your work, you can create a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel to keep track of your work.
